Killer Grasshoppers in Montana

Bozeman, 1980

Grasshoppers come in tiny bamboo cages
Hand-carved from willow and left unpainted

Place torches spaced at three-foot
Intervals around your home, arm your
Family with knee pads and ice picks

Editor’s Note:
When the grasshoppers hit
Montana this summer, you’ll be ready
